BSSP should be using delicioius to share links, resources and materials
http://webworkerdaily.com/2007/11/01/become-a-delicious-power-user/

Cutting Edge Abstract: Using delicious will help us retain, organize, and use information in a highly effective manner. Here are some tips on how to do it.

Why It's Important: Information certainly needs to be synthesized, but if Hanncock wants to better understand something about the weight loss industry for a Jenny Craig pitch he can gain access to this database of articles we've created to quickly and easily find a broad range of information. (see exhibit #1 : http://del.icio.us/kenhfisher/research:weightloss) Why don't we all start assembling our own online library of archived articles?

Brands Infiltrate Social Circles to Create Buzz
http://www.adweek.com/aw/magazine/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003664416

Cutting Edge Abstract: Recent research re-confirms a long-held fact: Consumers are more influenced by the recommendations of their friends than by marketing messages. A study conducted by The Nielsen Co., parent of Adweek, recommendations from others are trusted by 78 percent of consumers, while TV ads are trusted by 56 percent, web ads fared even worse, with just 26 percent trusting them.

Why it's important: Is it an oxymoron for marketing to use word of mouth? Word of mouth works because there is an inherent level of trust and respect; well how do marketers use it to their advantage without destroying the trust and respect of their advocates?

http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB117106531769704150-zpK10wf4CJOB4IKoJS5anuNoi6Y_20080209.html

Cutting Edge Abstract: Surprisingly influential people who, usually without pay and purely for the thrill of it, are trolling cyberspace for news and ideas to share with their network have interesting implications for advertisers.
Why it's important: Can defying marketability destroy your brand?
